Developed for Roscosmos for the Ionozond project, Ionosfera is a constellation of four ionospheric and magnetospheric research satellites. The satellites will be situated in two orbital planes, each with two satellites, and will fly in circular sun-synchronous orbits (SSOs) at an altitude of roughly 800 km.
