Resurs-P 4

Soyuz-2 MAR 31 2024 03:06PM

Three different kinds of remote sensing payloads for high-resolution, wide-angle, and multi-spectral observations of the Earth's surface were intended to be carried by Resurs-P 4. The spacecraft's imaging systems allowed it to take pictures of specific targets on Earth's surface as well as expansive regions up to 2,000 kilometers in length. During its pass, the shot's width would traverse 38 kilometers of land, as opposed to its predecessor's 27 kilometers. Resurs-P could also perform stereo imaging and image regions up to 100 by 300 kilometers in a single pass.
