The launch of the INSAT-3DS satellite was originally scheduled for January 2024, however it was eventually moved to February.The satellite was launched on February 17, 2024, at 17:35 IST (12:05 UTC), using the GSLV-F14 rocket.This was the maiden flight of the GSLV rocket's CUS-15, an extended cryogenic upper stage, with an environmentally friendly white fairing.All four of the scheduled Liquid Apogee Motor (LAM) firings were finished five days later. At this point, the spacecraft is in a geosynchronous orbit. By February 28, 2024, it is anticipated to arrive at the In Orbit Testing (IOT) site. After that, it will proceed to its assigned orbital slot.
