SMART 1
(Small Missions for Advanced Research in Technology) - ESA Satellite
SMART-1 (Small Missions for Advanced Research in Technology) was a European Space Agency (ESA) mission to the Moon. It was the first mission under ESA's Small Missions for Advanced Research in Technology (SMART) program. SMART-1 was designed to demonstrate and test a variety of innovative technologies while also conducting scientific observations of the Moon. SMART-1 carried a suite of scientific instruments, including a miniaturized infrared spectrometer (SIR), an X-ray spectrometer (D-CIXS), and a European Advanced Moon Micro-Imager Experiment (AMIE) camera.
