The third of three CubeSats studying X-rays coming from solar flares - which can interfere with GPS, radio, and other communications signals when they reach Earth. Its particular focus - wavelengths known as soft X-rays, rarely studied and especially disruptive in the ionosphere, Earths electrified upper atmosphere where communication signals travel.
