SUISEI (PLANET-A) - JAXA Satellite

SUISEI, also known as PLANET-A, was a Japanese space probe launched to study Halley's Comet during its 1986 perihelion passage. The primary mission of SUISEI was to study Halley's Comet, particularly its hydrogen corona, by observing ultraviolet emissions. The spacecraft aimed to contribute to the international effort to gather comprehensive data on the comet during its close approach to the Sun.
