NOZOMI
(Planet B) - JAXA Satellite
NOZOMI, also known as "PLANET-B," was a Japanese space probe developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to study the planet Mars. NOZOMI aimed to study the Martian atmosphere, surface, and magnetic environment to better understand the planet's climate, weather patterns, and geology. The mission's scientific objectives included investigating the dynamics of the Martian upper atmosphere, the distribution of water vapor, and the interaction between the solar wind and Mars' magnetic field.
