Kakehashi

Kakehashi (COMET) - JAXA Satellite

Kakehashi also known as "COMETS" (Communication and Broadcasting Engineering Test Satellite), was a satellite developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Kakehashi was designed to test and demonstrate advanced communication and broadcasting technologies in space. The mission aimed to develop and validate new satellite communication systems and techniques, including high-frequency and optical communication technologies, to enhance the efficiency and reliability of space-based communication networks.
