Hiten (MUSES-A) - JAXA Satellite

Hiten, also known as MUSES-A, was a Japanese lunar probe launched by the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS), which later became part of JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). The primary goal of the Hiten (MUSES-A) mission was to study the Moon and its environment. It aimed to achieve lunar orbit insertion and conduct scientific observations to enhance our understanding of the Moon's geology, surface features, and gravitational field.
