HTV5
(H-II Transfer Vehicle KOUNOTORI 5) - JAXA Satellite
The H-II Transfer Vehicle KOUNOTORI 5 (HTV5) is the fifth mission of the H-II Transfer Vehicle series, developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). HTV5 can carry a substantial amount of cargo, including both pressurized and unpressurized items. This includes experimental hardware, spare parts, and other essential materials. HTV5 uses an automated system to approach the ISS. Upon nearing the station, it is captured by the ISS's robotic arm (Canadarm2) and berthed to the Harmony module.
