EOS-04 also known as RISAT-1A is a Radar Imaging Satellite that was designed by ISRO to provide high quality images under all weather conditions for applications such as agriculture, forestry & plantations, soil moisture & hydrology and flood mapping. This mission was carried out in PLSV-C52 launch vehicle and has a mass of 1710 Kg. It was launched from SHAR Centre, Sriharikota, India.
