The FPPT 1.0U from CU Aerospace LLC is a Fiber Fed Pulsed Plasma Thruster that has a thrust of 0.00028 to 0.00035 N. It is well-suited for 6U or larger CubeSats. This spacecraft thruster has a mass of 1.54 Kg and a specific impulse of 1000-1700 sec. It has a power consumption of up to 48 W and supports RS-422 and TTL-level RS-232 interfaces. The FPPT consists of a self-contained system that uses PTFE fiber as a propellant and the design incorporates a modularized 32 J capacitor bank energy storage unit (ESU) to achieve a balance between performance and propellant volume.
