The Starling from Benchmark Space Systems is a Warm Gas Thruster that has a thrust of 0.01 to 1 N. It can be configured for use in 1-24U CubeSats. This spacecraft thruster has a mass of 0.75-2.7 Kg and a specific impulse of 105-140 sec. It has a power consumption of 3-100 W. The thruster consists of an innovative system that uses inert, nontoxic powdered fuel that is filled before shipping and remains inert until a pressurization command is triggered on orbit. It is ideal for orbit insertion, collision avoidance, station keeping, life extension, controlled de-orbit, RCS, and ACS applications.
