The BLV from Omnidea-RTG is a Spacecraft Valve with a maximum operating pressure of 26 bar with an internal leakage rate (He) of 1 x 10-4 scc/s and an external leakage rate (He) of 10 x 10-6 scc/s. This motor-driven valve has a fluid flow rate of 30 gallons/sec at 0.1 bar and more than 180 gallons/sec at 2 bar. It has an opening speed of 4 s with 1526:1 gear and a life cycle of 1500 cycles. This valve requires a DC power supply of 28 V and has a power consumption of up to 10 W. It functions with liquid and gas operating media including inert gases, Hydrazine, UDMH and MMH. This ITAR-free flight-proven valve is available in Ti6Al4V and stainless-steel material. It has a mass of 0.842 g and the enclosure measures 133 x 50 x 220 mm with 2 m cable connectors for motor and sensors.
