The PULSAR-STX from AAC Clyde Space is a Space Transmitter with a transmitter frequency range of 2.4-2.45 GHz and an RF output power of 24-30 dBm. This S-band transmitter supports OQPSK/QPSK modulation schemes and has a data rate of up to 2 Mbps. It has a channel spacing of 500 kHz and a spurious response of -60 dBc. The transmitter module features a flash-based FPGA, V.35 Intelsat scrambler, and supports low-speed I2C Bus – 400 kHz and high-speed SPI Bus – 4 MHz interfaces. It requires a supply voltage of 6-12 V and has a power consumption of less than 5 W. The transmitter has a mass of 100 g and measures 96 x 90 x 16.6 mm. It is designed based on Intelsat IESS-308 specifications with a design life of 2 years in LEO for CubeSat missions.
