Smallsat Perimeter Truss Reflector Image

The Smallsat Perimeter Truss Reflector from L3Harris Technologies is a Space Reflector has 50% lower mass than heritage reflector designs. This high-gain reflector enables low-cost launcher solutions and is compatible with reconfigurable beams and dynamic bandwidth allocation. It has a focal length of 1 m which minimizes scan loss and features integrated telescoping boom for high-accuracy pointing and stiffness. The small-stowed reflector measures 12 x 35 inches (D x H) and compatible with reconfigurable beams and bandwidth for use on smallsats and modern flexsats. It provides the high gain necessary for challenging link budgets, reducing the need for high-power amplification of the RF signal and freeing up power for additional transponders or payloads. The Smallsat Perimeter Truss Reflector (SPT) meets the challenging requirements of modern satellite antennas and is ideally suited for broadcast satellites, synthetic aperture radar, radiometry, internet of things and mobile satellite service applications.
