The RH3440 from Mercury Systems is a Solid State Recorder that has an industrial-grade 440 GB SLC NAND flash memory. This SSDR is VPX compatible with the NAND screened to NASA EEE-INST-002. It has an SRIO interface running at 3.125 Gbit/s with 4-lane writes of 1160 MB/s and reads of 1040 MB/s. The SSDR features abrupt power interruption protection and full drive erase in less than 30 seconds. It has a radiation tolerance TID of greater than 100 krad and SLC NAND TID of 30 krad. The SSDR requires a power supply of 3.25-12.3 V and has a power consumption of up to 14 W. It weighs less than 620 g and has a compact 3U form factor. The SSDR is suitable for LEO satellites, nuclear industry, medical industry, high-altitude aircraft, airborne weapons, mission-critical ground computing subsystems, missiles launch vehicles, and scientific missions.
