The 2080 from Airbus is a Solid State Recorder with a total memory capacity of 12 TB and a user memory capacity of 8 TB. This recorder has up to 3 memory slices and an aggregated record plus replay data rate of up to 10Gbits/s per slice. It has a minimum NAND flash endurance of 60K program/ erase cycles and a residual bit error rate of less than 5.3 x 10-17 error/bit/day for the mission. The recorder requires a primary input supply of 22-38 V (unregulated redundant power) and has a power consumption of 44 W. It uses a high-performance SCOC3 System-On-Chip based on the LEON3 sparc v8 core and features CCSDS Packet Telemetry Standard Transmission over virtual channels. The 2080 has a mass of 11 Kg and measures 365 x 220 x 230 mm.
