The HiPASS from Redwire Space is a Satellite Solar Panel that supports ESPA class electric propulsion missions. It features metallic tape spring hinges to fabricate a robust solution for system level tolerance stack-up risks. This solar array is a well-established technology with ten flight HiPASS wings for use in multiple US Government missions. The SADA-compatible HiPASS is engineered with low-cost graphite panels that are designed to minimize manufacturing risk and complexity. This solar panel has a mass of 17 Kg and a panel size of 30" x 54" x 7.5" (Stowed Wing) with 54" x 144" x 8" ( Deployed Wing). It is ideal for SmallSats, solar array constellations, ESPA-class electric propulsion missions and Solar Array Drive Assembly (SADA) applications.
