The CTJ – LC from CESI SpA is a Satellite Solar Cell with an open circuit voltage of 2.48-2.62 V and a BOL efficiency of up to 28 % at maximum power point. It has an output current of 422-436 mA and an output voltage range of 2.18- 2.32 V. This space-qualified solar cell has a short circuit current of 444-457 mA and a power consumption of 0.92-1.01 W. It has a cell mass of 81-89 mg/cm sq and a cell thickness of 80-150 µm. It is compatible with an external by-pass diode for reverse bias protection with weldable or solderable contacts. This solar cell is fully tested to the ECSS E ST20-08C space qualification and characterization standards. It measures 6.9 x 3.9 cm sq and is designed for a multitude of LEO, GEO, and interplanetary missions.
