The MkII MLB from Rocket Lab is a Separation System designed to separate space vehicles from launch vehicles. This separation system has a bolt-circle diameter of 8 to 38 inches and can support payloads of up to 1800lb. It is TRL 9 qualified and is made with materials and methods consistent with Class-A space flight hardware. The MLB has a total mass of 1.48-6.84 Kg and comes with integrated springs, switches, and connectors that streamline mission design. It has operated successfully more than 100 times in flight and has been used on launch vehicles such as Falcon 9 Heavy, Vega, Atlas V, and Delta IV.
