OceanTRx 7MIL Ka Image

The OceanTRx 7MIL Ka from Orbit Communication Systems is a Satellite Terminal with a Ka-band transmit frequency range of 27.5-30.0 GHz and a receive frequency range of 17.70-20.2 GHz. This VSAT system has a cross-polar discrimination of 27.32 dB (Tx/Rx) and a system G/T of 26.0 dB/Degree K. It uses a dual offset Gregorian antenna that measures 2.2 m. The terminal has a continuous azimuth range and an elevation range of -31 to +113 degrees. It requires an AC supply of 200-250 VAC and has a power consumption of less than 950 W. The terminal features simultaneous operation or automatic switching of dual and multiple bands and incorporates a patented algorithm that enables seamless MEO/LEO satellite handover. It weighs 950 Kg and measures 2.70 × 2.60 m (radome size). The terminal is designed and tested for the strictest MIL-STD-810G environmental conditions and provides reliable, high-capacity, long-range multiband communication to navy vessels under extreme conditions.
