M20-24M Ku Image

The M20-24M Ku from General Dynamics Mission Systems is a Satellite Terminal with a transmit frequency range of 10.95-12.75 GHz and a receive frequency range of 13.75-14.50 GHz. This Ku-band satellite terminal has a G/T of 14.1 dB/K and an EIRP of 49.6 dBW at midband and P1dB. It has a beamwidth of 2.3-2.8 degrees and a transmit cross-polarization of 30 dB within track/point. The terminal has an azimuth travel of 360 degrees and an elevation travel of 0-95 degrees. It requires a supply voltage of 28 VDC and has a power consumption of 350 W. The terminal leverages a wide range of commercially available modem systems and has an acquisition time of less than 5 sec. It weighs 142 lbs and measures 28.9 inches (height), 28.6 inches (radome diameter), and 27.5 inches (diameter footprint at base). This satellite terminal was specifically designed for ground vehicle command, control, and communications (C3) missions where beyond the line of sight (BLOS) SATCOM capabilities are mission critical.
