The PSL6U XL from Astro-und Feinwerktechnik Adlershof GmbH is a Space-Qualified Satellite Deployer that is designed for 6U CubeSat configurations. It has a maximum satellite mass of up to 12 Kg. This flight-proven deployer has a non-explosive lock and release mechanism and a closed envelope for high safety. It has a defined deployment energy and a low spin rate and comes with redundancy in the actuation and deployment confirmation signals. The deployer measures 366 x 226.3 x 100 mm and has a large clearance for attachments on the CubeSat, and access ports for maintenance on the launch site.
