The PSL 1U from Astro-und Feinwerktechnik Adlershof GmbH is a Space-Qualified Satellite Launcher that is designed for 1U, 2U, and 3U CubeSat configurations. It has a maximum satellite mass of up to 1.33 Kg. This flight-proven launcher has a non-explosive lock and release mechanism and a deficient power consumption mechanism. It has redundancy in the actuation and deployment confirmation signals and patented fixation of the CubeSat in X, Y, and Z during launch. It also has ample clearance for attachments on the CubeSat, access ports for maintenance on the launch site, defined deployment energy, and a low spin rate. This flight-proven deployer measures 113.5 x 100 x 100 mm and is ideal for PicoSatellites and CubeSats.
