The C3D from XCAM LIMITED is a Satellite Camera with a spatial resolution of 360 m GSD. This camera system uses a 1.3 MP CMOS image sensor and a standard COTS lens of 9.6 mm F/3.0. It has an option of auto or fixed exposure and a wavelength range of 400 – 650 nm. The camera system has an onboard memory of 16 MB SDRAM / 8 MB Flash and supports I2C or SPI data interfaces. Its Wide-field imager (WFI) camera optics can host up to three cameras per imager board and features near- and far-field imaging capabilities. The camera system has a mass of 85 g and measures 9.5 x 9.1 x 2.7 cm. It is TRL 9 qualified with proven flight heritage having flown on both the UK Space Agency’s UKube-1 and AlSat Nano missions. The C3D is ideal for earth observation and spacecraft deployment monitoring applications.
