The EVO-RBR-2290A1S from AVCOM is a Satellite Beacon Receiver with an input frequency range of 900-2200 MHz. This L-band beacon receiver has a tuning step size of 1 kHz and a an input level range of -10 to -100 dBm. It has a detection bandwidth of 10-750 kHz and a tracking bandwidth of 10-150 kHz. The beacon receiver is based on Avcom’s software-defined-radio technology platform that employs high-performance DSP, and FPGAs. It can track L-Band CW BPSK beacon carrier and CEPT-Carrier-Edge-Power-Track for DVB carrier. The beacon receiver has a user-selectable search/track rate of 10/25 Hz and an acquisition time of less than 1 sec. It requires an input power supply of 15-24 VDC and has a power consumption of less than 3 W. The receiver supports monitoring and control via Ethernet and features comprehensive API protocol support for easy integration. It weighs 2.2 Kg and measures 19 x 18.125 x 1.720 inches.
