The TR61 from Communications & Power Industries is a SATCOM Transceiver with an input frequency range of 950-1450 MHz and an output frequency range of 7.9-8.4 GHz. This transceiver has a transmitter local oscillator frequency of 6.950 GHz and a receiver local oscillator frequency of 6.3 GHz. It has a transmit/receive small signal gain of 60 dB and spurious emissions of -60 dBc. The transceiver has a transmit/receive phase noise (SSB) of up to -112 dBc/Hz and a noise figure of 1.3 dB. The transceiver is designed to meet MIL-STD-810G environmental requirements and can directly be mounted on the antenna to maximize operational efficiency. It requires an input power supply of 22-56 V and has a maximum power consumption of 120 W. The transceiver has a mass of 3.18 kg and measures 174.0 x 170.5 x 109.0 mm. It is ideal for satellite communications applications.
