SpaceNXT 100QT Image

The SpaceNXT 100QT from Smiths Interconnect is a Space-Qualified Coaxial Cable Assembly that operates from DC-50 GHz. It has an impedance of 50 ohms and a propagation velocity of 80 %. This phase stable cable assembly has a shielding effectiveness of about 100 dB/ft and a capacitance of 25.4 pF/ft. It has a delay of 1.27 ns/ft and, attenuation k1 and k2 of 0.534 dB and 0.000803 dB per 100 ft respectively. This cable assembly has stainless steel or BeCu connectors, rated above 500 mating cycles. It comprises phase-stable fluoropolymer dielectric material to minimize electrical length changes over a wide temperature range. It has a low dielectric loss, reduced attenuation, and power loss. It has ETFE jackets for increased radiation resistance. This NASA/ESA-compliant cable assembly weighs 1.64 kg/100 m and is ideally designed and tested for next-generation commercial space applications.
