The CubeWheel S from Cubespace is a Satellite Reaction Wheel that is designed for attitude control of satellites ranging from 2 - 20 kg. It has a torque of 0.23 mNm and an angular momentum of 1.77 mNm. This reaction wheel has a mass of 60 gms and a static imbalance of less than 0.003 g/cm. It requires a DC supply of 3.3 - 16 V and has a peak power consumption of 0.65 W.
The CubeWheel S supports I2C, UART, and CAN bus interfaces to take speed reference commands. It consists of a highly balanced flywheel disc and integrated electronics and can be mounted on all axes of the satellite. This reaction wheel measures 28 x 28 x 26.2 mm and is ideal for CubeSats ranging from 6 - 16 U.
