The BEPICOLOMBO MTM PCDU from TERMA is a Power Conditioning and Distribution Unit (PCDU) with a primary sun regulated bus power of 100 V and a power capability of 12 kW. This PCDU is built in a modular format consisting of 23 modules. It has a sunlight power capability of 14 kW and a solar array voltage range of 42-115 V. The PCDU has 4 x 10 A, 100 V LCL outputs and up to 72 heater switch outputs. It generates a secondary regulated power bus voltage of 28 V with a load capability of 700 W. The PCDU has a power link distribution voltage range of 60-67 V and a distributed power of 2050 W. It has a power consumption of less than 50 W and the power bus supports MIL-STD-1553 for command and monitoring. The PCDU weighs 28.1 kg and has a volume of 556 x 317 x 158 mm. It was designed for ESA’s BepiColombo mission and has up to 3 years of flight heritage.
