The Pearl from Airbus is a Satellite Power Conditioning and Distribution Unit with a solar array power capability of 760 W and distributed power of 1.5 KW. It is suitable for LEO operations with a typical lifetime of up to10-years. This PCDU provides an unregulated bus voltage of 22-38 V and has a bus capacitance of 150 uF. It consists of 35 distribution lines with a fuse capability of up to 5 A. The PCDU supports CANBUS TM/TC interface. It requires an input solar array voltage of 22-75V and has a power dissipation of less than 20 W. The PCDU has a mass of 2.5 Kg and a volume of 395 x 125 x 65 cubic mm.
