The SBCFA1000 from ZIN Technologies is a Satellite On-Board Computer (OBC) based around a Leon3FT processor with a high-performance dual-precision IEEE-754 FPU. This OBC design is capable of 30DMIPS and 4MFLOPS and accommodates a range of Actel RTAX FPGAs to provide extensibility. It has an EEPROM of 512 KB, a primary SuROM of 32 KB, and a SRAM of 2 MB. The OBC features 3 high precision 16-bit ADC channels and 8 additional 12-bit ADC channels. It offers a TRL-9 flight-qualified architecture and supports RS-422 interface for command and data handling. The OBC parts are fully tested and qualified per EEE-INST-002 and radiation hardened up to 100 Krad TID. It was designed for the radiation environment of NASA’s Multiscale Magnetospheric Mission. The OBC measures 5 x 4 inches (L x H) and is ideal for data processing or spacecraft control applications.
