The SX-SBOX-MAG-01 from SPUTNIX is a Three-Axis Magnetometer that has a measurement range of ± 100 µT and a measurement noise of 100 nT. This magnetometer has a mass of 70 gms and consists of anisotropic magnetoresistive sensors for measuring magnetic field that will provide accuracy to operate in the spacecraft attitude control. It requires a DC supply voltage of 6-36 V and has a power consumption of 0.8 W. This magnetometer measures 54 x 52 x 16 mm and is ideal for determining the orientation of the spacecraft, electromagnetic coils for damping the spacecraft rotation, and for unloading the control flywheel motors.
