The MS-22 from SENSORPIA is a Magnetometer that senses attitude by measuring 3-axis components of the earth’s magnetic field. This 3-axis magnetometer has a measuring range of ± 60 µT and a resolution of 10 nT at 1Hz. It has a linearity of ± 0.1 % and a maximum axis alignment of ± 1 degrees. The magnetometer supports an analog output communication interface and has a bandwidth of 10 Hz. It requires an input voltage of 15 V and has a power consumption of less than 1.1 W. The magnetometer weighs 350 g and measures 50 × 155 × 35 mm. It is developed for attitude control for satellites.
