The TAM-1 from MEDA is a Magnetometer with field range of ± 1000 mG and a linearity of ± 0.05%. It has a frequency response of DC to 60 Hz and an accuracy of 1 %. The magnetometer has a sensitivity of 10.0 mV/mG (unbiased) and 2.5 mV/mG (biased). It requires an input DC voltage of 21-36 V and a current consumption of 40-54 mA. The magnetometer has a mass of 770 g and measures 5.23 x 14.02 x 16.38 cm. It is a space qualified magnetometer in which the sensor can be located outside the satellite platform and is ideal for space and military satellites.
