The DMAG from LusoSpace is a Magnetometer that provides 3 axis digital readings of the surrounding magnetic field. This digital magnetometer has a dynamic field range of +/- 65000 nT and a noise of less than 20 nT (1σ). It has a linearity of +/- 0.2 % and an offset of 500 nT. The magnetometer has a bandwidth of 5 Hz and supports RS-485 or RS-422 data interface. It requires a supply voltage of + 5/28 V and has a power consumption of 1.5 W. The magnetometer features AMR technology and is housed in a compact enclosure for easy integration. It has a mass of 300 g and measures 112 x 72 x 37 mm. The magnetometer is being developed/qualified for space applications (TRL 8) according to ECSS (ESA) and is ideal for providing attitude reference in LEO missions.
