The HMR2300 from Honeywell Aerospace is a Digital Magnetometer that has a resolution of 67 μgauss and an accuracy of up to 0.52 %FS. This smart magnetometer has a three-axis magnetic sensor hybrid assembly used to detect the strength and direction of an incident magnetic field. It requires an unregulated DC voltage of 6-15 V for operation and a supply current of 30 mA. This magnetometer has a capacity of 10-154 samples/sec and supports RS-232/RS-485 interfaces. It provides three-axis digital Outputs (X, Y and Z) that are converted to 16-bit digital values using an internal delta-sigma A/D converter. This smart digital magnetometer is ideal for applications such as attitude reference, compassing & navigation, traffic and vehicle Detection, anomaly detection, laboratory instrumentation and security systems.
