The Ka-Band BDC from Orbital Research is a Low Noise Block with an input RF frequency of 17.7-20.2 GHz (low band), 19.2-21.2 GHz (medium band) and 20.2-22.2 GHz (high band). It has an output RF frequency of 950-1950 (low band), 1000 to 2000 & 950 to 1950 (medium band), and  1000 to 2000 & 950 to 1950 MHz (high band). This LNB provides a maximum bandwidth of 1 GHz and has a maximum noise figure of 10 dB. It has a gain of 20-40 dB and has a gain flatness of ± 1.5 dB. This block downconverters has a minimum image rejection value of -40 dBm and has a spurious value of -65 dBc. It requires a DC supply of 16-26 V and has a power consumption of less than 4 W. This RoHS and REACH-compliant LNB has a low noise figure with high gain antennas and exceptional image rejection. This LNB weighs 450 g and is designed for military, mobile commercial and BSS SATCOM applications.
