The GSG-7 from Safran is a GNSS Simulator with advanced simulation capabilities of real-time synchronization, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) integration, and simulation of all-in-view satellite signals. It has a simulation iteration rate of 1000 Hz and can be programmed to simulate operations with all current/future GNSS signals. The GNSS Simulator is configured with Skydel software and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware to conduct system testing and simulation. It requires an AC supply from 100-240 V and a power consumption of 400 W. This GNSS Simulator enables future-proofing to allow new and incoming signals and updates to be implemented through software updates. It can be used alone or in combination with other Skydel-powered simulators like the GSG-8 or Wavefront and Anechoic test solutions. The GSG-7 is available in an enclosure that measures 48 x 41 x 9 cm with HDMI/USB/Ethernet ports and various RF connectors. It is ideal for development and integration projects that require high performance, all-in-view satellite signals and an increased number of GNSS constellations.
