The Explorer GPS Spaceborne Receiver from General Dynamics Mission Systems is a Space-Qualified GPS Receiver with an autonomous position accuracy of less than 15 m (LEO) and 100 m (GEO). This receiver has a 1PPS time of less than 100 nsec (1 sigma) and time to first fix of 4 min (LEO) and 10 mins (GEO). It features 12 channels support all-in-view tracking and carrier-aided code tracking. The receiver supports an RS-422 bus interface and requires a supply voltage of 22-34 Vdc. It has a max of 1.2 Kg and measures 161 x 132 x 42 mm. The receiver is based on a radiation-tolerant design and is immune to Single Event Latch-up. It provides position, velocity, and time information for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) applications.
