The LPT6510 from Thales Group is a Pulse-Tube Cryocooler that has been designed to operate in satellites such as the TRISHNA earth observation satellite and is incorporated by space agencies such as CNES and ISRO. It has a mass of less than 3.2 Kg. This cryocooler requires a maximum input of 60 W and has an off-state parasitic loss of 0.45 W. It is based on the Thales cryogenics MPTC compressor, developed under ESA funding. The cryocooler consists of Absolut System SSC80 pulse-tube cold finger.
