The MPTC from Air Liquide Group is a Miniature Pulse-Tube Cryocooler that has been part of several programs such as the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) program by Thales and the new generation Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer (IASI-NG) by Airbus and CNES. It has a mass of 3.8 Kg (without electronics). This cryocooler requires a maximum input power of 50 W and has a heat lift range of 1-5W. It is suitable for earth observation, astronomy, meteorology, and science applications.
