The CMG 75-75 S from Airbus is a Control Moment Gyroscope that is designed to operate in large satellites with a lifetime of 10 years in LEO orbit. It has a momentum of 70-75 Nms per CMG and a torque of 75 Nm. This gyroscope has a mass of 69 Kg. It has an unlimited gimbal axis angular range and an angular resolution of 22 bits. This CMG has a power consumption of 37 W (quasi-static) and 160 W (max maneuver) per CMG.
