The LP 33450 from EaglePicher Technologies is a Satellite Battery with a nominal capacity of 43 Ah. This rechargeable Lithium-Ion cell has an energy density of 378 Wh/L and a specific energy of 153 Wh/kg. It has max. current discharge rate of 200 A and max. pulse discharge rates of 400 A. This lithium-ion battery features a prismatic cell design and hermetically-sealed construction. It has a long operation lifetime of over 40,000 low-earth orbit cycles at 40% depth of discharge (DOD) over 10 years. The battery weighs 1.27 Kg and measures 4.2 x 6.52 x 1.21 inches. It is suitable for aerospace, mars lander, low-earth orbit satellite missions, mid-earth orbit satellite missions, geosynchronous-earth orbit satellite missions, scientific and exploratory satellite missions.
