The STELLAR LowPower (-LP) from Airbus is a Satellite Battery with a nominal capacity of 51 Ah and a nominal energy of 1685 Wh. It has an energy density of 170 Wh/kg and has a maximum pulse discharge current of 55-70 A. This satellite battery requires a voltage range of 22.5-37.8 V and has a maximum continuous charge current of 15 A. It features a passive balancing function, shunt current telemetry, power switches and timer. The battery has a mass of 9.8 Kg and measures 338 x 275 x 110 mm. It is designed for LEO constellations and has a flight heritage of the OneWeb satellites constellation.
