The Ariane 6 UPPA from Kongsberg is a Attach and Release Mechanism with a flight limit load of 2700kN. This mechanism has a frictional coefficient of 0.03 and +/- 2 degree of rotational angle. It has a mass of 72-75 kg and has a height adjustment of up to +54 mm. The UPPA is based on the successful DAAV design and modified according to Ariane 6 design requirements.
