The Type 22 from Moog is a two-axis Antenna Pointing Assembly with an output torque of greater than 18 N-m and an output step size of 0.02 Deg. This antenna pointing assembly has an unpowered holding torque of greater than 15 N-m and a power of 15 W per axis.  It has an inertia handling capability of greater than 12 Kg.m^2 and a potentiometer position sensor with ± 1.5 deg linearity. The antenna pointing assembly has a mass of 5 Kg and is ideally suited for supporting and positioning small to medium-sized spacecraft communications antennas.
