The iADCS200 from AAC Clyde Space is an Autonomous Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) that is designed for small satellites and 3U CubeSats. The ADCS system consists of an ST200 star tracker, RW210 series reaction wheels, MTQ200 series magnetorquers, an optional external magnetometer, sun sensors, GNSS receivers, and precision gyroscopes. It has a pointing accuracy of less than 1 deg with a slew rate of 1.52 deg/sec. The ADCS system has a total momentum storage per axis of +/- 1.5, +/- 3.0, and +/- 6.0 mN.m.s and a maximum torque of 0.087 mNm. It requires a DC supply of 4-15 V and has a power consumption of 1150 mW (idle) and 1400 mW (nominal). The ADCS system supports I2C, RS-422, RS-485, UART and CAN interfaces. It features an internal fire-and-forget controller which frees up the host processor’s workload, providing nadir, sun and target-pointing modes, as well as backup detumbling and control system has target pointing, sun pointing, nadir pointing, fast spin mode and de-tumbling. This ADCS system has a mass of 4-4.7 Kg and measures 95 x 90 x 32 mm.
