In 2020, Nusantara-2, an Indonesian high-throughput telecommunications satellite manufactured by Boeing, was unable to reach orbit on a CZ-3B. In its substitute, Nusantara Lima is intended to operate in geostationary orbit as a complement to SATRIA-1.Established in 2021, Nusantara Lima (SNL) is an Indonesian corporation that provides satellite services. The Nusantara Lima (N5) satellite is a satellite system that SNL is currently building. At longitudes 113 east, the N5 satellite will be positioned over the equator.
